Certificate Programs
About
Sati Center now offers two certificate programs in Buddhist Studies. Each certificate program provides a structured pathway for Buddhist study and training. The curriculum builds on Sati Center’s existing course offerings and will partner with Insight Meditation Center to include IMC’s courses and retreats. These core courses establish the foundation upon which we plan to expand, with new courses, programs and faculty.

The Certificate in Theravada Buddhist Studies
The Certificate in Theravada Buddhist Studies provides a practical grounding in Buddhist teachings, practices, sacred texts (suttas), and history so those interested in Buddhist practice have a firm foundation in the tradition.
The Certificate in Buddhist Spiritual Care
The Certificate in Buddhist Spiritual Care prepares individuals for professional, volunteer, and everyday forms of Buddhist spiritual care as chaplains, counselors, dharma teachers, and caregivers.
