Coming Together for Connecting Speech with Liên Shutt
Cost:
Dāna Program
This dana program is freely offered in the spirit of generosity. Any donation you can offer to the teacher and to the Sati Center to continue making these teachings available is greatly appreciated.
Online via Zoom
Are you baffled by the current climate of denigrating and divisive speech? Do you, in your bones, know that we can behave much better?
Do you want to be in a container to engage with our highest aspirations to get along?
If so, the Dharma offers us ways to have full awareness and expressions of how we can interact in meaningful connection. Let’s come together to meet fully and then mindfully release built-up hindering habit energies by grounding ourselves in the Dharma of Skillful Speech. We’ll explore the 4 guidelines from the teachings – to support easy remembering, I’ve given it the acronym of T.U.G.S.:
- Truthful
- Uplifting
- Gentle and
- Significant
Join me for teachings, meditations, and connecting exercises to practice our highest aspirations for connection. We’ll co-create a space in which our complex pains for the suffering we’re facing in these trying times, can be shared in a safe-enough/brave-enough space, individually and collectively.
By practicing together in this workshop, we’ll be able to ground in the teachings of Skillful Speech, strengthening our confidence as we take them into our everyday lives.
